It is our goal at the PACE Center to maintain our status as a world-renowned institution addressing issues such as:

• the nature and nurture of human abilities, competencies, and expertise,
• the interrelations of these three constructs,
• the measurement of these three constructs,
• the development and facilitation of these constructs in the young and old alike in various cultures around the world.

We will always welcome a variety of approaches to these issues, including but not limited to cognitive, psychometric, behavior-genetic, cultural, developmental, and educational methods.

Within the PACE Center, we will work to maintain an active program of research and development, as well as training. Our research and development will continue to include projects of worldwide scope. Additionally, we will remain dedicated to training graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, visiting scholars from abroad, as well as professionals in fields related to the Center's activities.

It is our intention at the PACE Center to provide the highest quality products related to human abilities, competencies, and expertise. We are dedicated to our work, and intend to maintain its quality through close and constant examination of our goals and practices.
